Singapore! -Day 2-

We started the second day by going to Chinatown early in the morning. When we arrived there, most of the shops had not opened yet, but our favourite bakkwa (smoked and roasted strips of pork with a consistency similar to jerky) shop was already open. We placed our order to the nice auntie there, and she told us to wait 30 minutes. So we just strolled around the area.

After finishing our business in Chinatown, we went to Bishan Junction 8 to visit the 'POPULAR' bookstore (in case you are confused, Popular is the name of the bookstore :p). I wanted to find books for my teaching materials, because Singaporean English books are usually very good. After having lunch there, we went straight to Novena Square to find a plus-size clothing store recommended in the internet. We did found the store, and the auntie was so nice. She gave a lot of discounts to my sister when she bought 2 pieces of clothes. Then, we went back to the hotel to wash up and get ready for the concert.

The concert was held at 6 pm, so we left the hotel at 4 pm. We took the MRT to Singapore Indoor Stadium. It was my first time inside the Stadium, but the second for my sister. Although the Stadium is not too big, it was clean and well-organized. I was amazed by the stage arrangement.

The concert was fantastic, and it lasted for about 4 hours. After the concert ended, we joined in the storm of people, and went back to out hotel to start packing for our flight back tomorrow.

***To be continued in the next final post! :)
